I suffer from real bad migraines, they get so bad that I've wound up in the ER getting narcotic shots and stuff for the nausea...they impact my life so bad!! Excedrin doesn't help much and I dont do tylenol or other asprin because they dont help and Iwouldn't want to over dose. Any ideas what to do?

Get a prescription for an Imitrex inhaler. Works awesome if you get the aura or other warning before the migraine kicks in. In my case as soon as the little sparklies show up I do one shot up the nostril that seems to be on the same side. Typically the aura will dissipate and within 20 minutes the headache would kick in, not with the inhaler! I use that instead of Imitrex pills because with me by the time the pills kick in, it's too late and I'm laid out.

CoQ10 is a compound found in mitochondria and is used be the mitochondria to produce energy or ATP or Adenosine Triphosphate. Or in other words, it also gives you more energy, and makes it easier to absorb nutrients.
Oh yeah, do not take the pills. They take too long to get absorbed into your system.

Have you ever tried a drug in the class of "Triptans" like Sumatriptan (Imitrex) - they are specifically used to treat migraines ... see if your doctor could write you a script for them ... so long as you don't have any contraindications towards them

I have the same kind of headaches I do take the Excedrin for migraine 2 tablets
with warm water and lay down in a quiet and dark room for a while.
